When faced with the Spider use the Soul Robber. This is one of the most effective attacks available. The weak spot of the spider is its butt. However, as your hero runs towards or around the boss, the boss will turn to face him. It's best to run directly at the boss and jump over it so the attack can be delivered. When the little spiders appear, use any attack that hits in a wide arc to quickly destroy the boss' life. Repeat as needed and the boss will defeated in short order.
