You can get a pumped up version of Akira if you play through story mode as Seijyun Syogakuen and KO Wild Daigo without using a team attack.

In order to play as this alternate version of Batsu, first enter story mode and choose the Taiyo school. Then you must loose (as Batsu) against Akira, Yurika, or Zaki. Then Iincyo will replace Batsu, and Burning Batsu will be playable during the battle against Vatsu.

To unlock the awesome Dark Side Student Council in story mode, simply complete the game with all of the schools.

To unlock this character, all you need to do is complete the game in story mode with all of the schools and get all of the endings.

To unlock Hyo in arcade mode, versus, and training, simply complete the game with all of the schools.

To fight as these two characters, beat the story mode as Pacific High School

To unlock the awesome Vatsu, simply beat story mode as Gorin Koukou.

In order to unlock this guy, you must play through story mode as Gedo Koukou. At the Wild Daigo fight, defeat him with a three-person team attack, and then win the battle against Demon Hyo.
