King Of Fighters Dream Match '99

A Helping Hand...

Before you start a fight, and are selecting which order the characters fight, press and hold B. If any are smiling or normal, continue. During a round, press X+Y+A when dizzy, and your team-mates will come out and defend you!

Alternate Characters

When you highlight the portrait of the following characters and hold START, you'll see their other portrait in the bottom left or right corner change. Press X, Y, A, or B (while holding start) to select a different version of that character.

The following are available:

Kyo, Terry, Andy, Joe, Ryo, Robert, Yuri, Mai, Yashiro, Shermie, Chris, Billy, & Rugal.

Alternate Survival Mode

Beat Survival mode once complete. Then highlight the "Survival Mode" option, hold Start and press A to fight individual characters characters instead of team battles

Change Uniform

At the Character Select screen, hold the "Start" button and press either A, B, X, Y, A+X, A+Y, or A+X+Y. To reveal a different costume. Only the following characters have an alternate costume: Andy Bogard, Kyo Kusanagi, Orochi Chris, Robert Garcia, Yuri Sakazaki, Billy Kane, Mai Shiranui, Orochi Yashiro, Ryo Sakazaki, Joe Higashi, Omega Rugal, Orochi Shermie, and Terry Bogard.

Clean Pause Screen

Pause the game and press X + Y simultaneously. The "Pause" message will then disappear.

Play as Orochi Team

To play as Orochi team, go to the character selection screen and press START on Chris or Yashiro or Shermie.

Play as Rugal B

To play as Rugal B, complete the game once and go to character select screen press START at Rugal.

Secret Images

After you finish playing, go to NEOGEO POCKET then to DOWNLOAD. Choose POINTPLUS and YES.

After you reach a certain number of points you will have access to secret 'KOF99 Millenium' images in the UPLOAD menu of the NEOGEO POCKET option.
